Pride Canterbury

Saturday 7th June, Pup and Tiger will be proudly joining UCA at their booth for Pride Canterbury 2025: bringing queer art, fierce energy, and a whole lot of love for our community. As a new queer-led art space based right here in Canterbury, we’re showing up with our full hearts, sharing the vision we’ve been building and inviting you to be part of it.

We’ll be giving a sneak peek at some of our upcoming work, debuting our limited-run launch print “Get ’em Tiger”, and talking about Soft Territories: our open artist call for LGBTQ+ and underrepresented artists. With just over a week left of our crowdfund as of pride day, this is one of our final big chances to rally support. You’ll be able to donate in person, scan QR codes, sign up to our newsletter, and order some gorgeous merch. We’re also handing out free Pup and Tiger pin badges, and anyone who donates £5 or more gets a limited-edition Pride sticker — a little thank you for helping us make this space real.

If you pledge £50 or more online, you’ll receive an invite to our private launch celebration — a behind-the-scenes first look at the art, the space, and the future of Pup and Tiger. There’s a limited amount of spaces, so secure your spot before they’re gone!

It’ll just be the two of us — Ash and Jared — holding it down at the booth, along with our friends from UCA. We’re especially excited to meet other queer folks in Canterbury, hear your stories, and share what’s next. We’re not a big brand. We’re just two people trying to build something beautiful, together.

About Pride Canterbury 2025

Now celebrating its 10th year, Pride Canterbury returns on Saturday 7th June with an iconic parade through the city, followed by a full day of live music, drag, dance, and local talent. Thousands of attendees are expected to fill the streets for a celebration of love, resilience, and identity. With a main stage, community stalls, food, and entertainment all day long, this year’s Pride is set to be one of the most unforgettable yet.

“We’re building Pup and Tiger because queer people deserve more than survival. We deserve beauty, visibility, and community. Pride is a reminder of what we’ve come from, and what we’re still creating together.” – Ash & Jared, founders of Pup and Tiger

And the celebration doesn’t stop when the sun sets…

After a full day at the UCA booth, we’ll be heading to Canterbury’s a DragPilgrims Pride Canterbury’s evening event at The Westgate Hall. It runs from 7pm to 10:30pm, and we’ll be there for most of the show, soaking in the talent, taking photos and video, and celebrating alongside some of Canterbury’s fiercest performers. We’re not tabling or speaking — just showing up in support and enjoying the night as part of the community we’re building this space for. Click the button to buy tickets, you won’t regret it.

From there, we’ll head over to The John (around 10:30pm) to round out the night with a proper queer hangout. Nothing official — just the two of us, a pocketful of Pup and Tiger badges, and a QR code or two for anyone who wants to donate or chat about the crowdfund. If you’ve been following our journey online, or you meet us at Pride during the day and want to keep the good vibes going, come say hi. Grab a drink, take a photo, bring your friends. We’d love to meet more of the beautiful queer souls who make Canterbury what it is. Entry to the Pride Afterparty event is free.
