Mapping / Invocation is a new body of work by artist Jared Pappas-Kelley, published by Pup and Tiger Press. Rooted in queer ritual, conceptual drawing, and looping video installation, the collection explores what it means to call something into being, before you know exactly what it looks like. Spanning a full-colour, 108-page hardback artist’s book, seven limited-edition archival prints, and a capsule of screen-printed T-shirts, this first release from Pup and Tiger Press moves between the quiet, the absurd, and the deeply felt. Each item is a fragment of a larger field guide, for abundance, for invocation, for soft rebellion.
