Jake Wood
Jake Wood is an artist based in Medway, UK. They graduated with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from the University for the Creative Arts, Canterbury. Their performance-based practice explores themes of fitness, trespass and spatial disruption, examining how public spaces can be subverted. Their first major solo show was at Vane Gallery and, they have performed at the QUEERCALL Festival, Fitzwilliam Museum and Bishopsgate Institute, and have held residencies at Ugly Duck, Derek Jarman’s Prospect Cottage, Home Live Art and Cambridge Junction.
