Privacy

This notice explains what we collect, why we use it, and the choices you have.

Pup and Tiger Ltd is the controller of the personal information described here. Pup & Tiger is our trading name. The registered office is 18 City Wall Avenue, Canterbury, England, CT1 2FZ. Write to info@pupandtiger.co.uk.

Depending on what you do on the site, this may include your name, email address, delivery or collection details, order history, payment references, support payments, mailing-list choices, open-call applications and files, Curates enquiries, and technical information such as an IP address in our server logs.

We do not store your full card number. We do not ask you to fill in details about your health, sexuality, ethnicity, religion, or similar matters.

We use information to take and fulfil an order, admit you to an event, record a support payment, reply to you, run an open call or a Curates enquiry, send mail you have asked for, and keep the site working. Orders and support payments are also part of our accounting records, which we keep for six years.

If you order goods or a ticket, we use your details to complete the order, deliver or admit you, and deal with a problem. A message about that order is not marketing.

We use Stripe to process card payments. Your card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by Pup & Tiger.

We email you about the programme only if you ask us to, and only after you confirm your address from the message we send. An order, a support payment, or an application does not sign you up. Leaving a box unticked does not cancel a subscription you already have.

You can unsubscribe in any programme email, or from the preferences link. We keep a record that you unsubscribed so we do not email you again.

An application includes your name, contact details, what you write, and the files you upload. We use it to read the application and run the call. The people reviewing it can see it. We do not publish it, and we do not use it to send marketing.

If the work you send includes information about health, sexuality, ethnicity, or belief, we use that only as part of reading the application. We do not use it for anything else.

If an application is not taken forward, we delete the files within 12 months of the decision, unless you have agreed to a longer archive. If it is taken forward, we keep what the project needs. Sending an application does not assign your copyright.

If you write to us about a project, we use your contact details and the message so we can reply. We keep that correspondence while the enquiry is open and for up to two years afterwards, unless it becomes a contract. A contract is kept with our accounting records.

A ticket purchase uses your name and email so we can admit you and contact you if the event changes. Photography at events is described in the terms.

The server records IP addresses and request data so the site can run and so we can deal with abuse. We do not use those logs as a mailing list, and we do not build advertising profiles or make automated decisions about you. Cookies are described separately.

We use Zoho to deliver emails about an order, an application, or a support payment, and Postmark to deliver programme emails to people who have asked to receive them. The mailing list itself is held on systems we operate.

Video on the site may be delivered using Mux when you play it. The site, its database, and stored files are hosted by our infrastructure providers. We do not send personal information to an advertising network.

Some of the companies we use process information outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we use the safeguards required by UK data protection law.

Order and support records are kept for six years. Mailing-list details are kept while you are subscribed, and the unsubscribe record is kept so we honour it. Other periods are described above.

If we delete a record, a copy can remain in a backup until that backup expires. Our backups are removed after 14 days.

You can ask for a copy of your information, a correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy of information you gave us. You can object to uses based on our legitimate interests, and you can withdraw consent for programme email at any time. Write to info@pupandtiger.co.uk. We will ask only for what we need to know the request is yours.

Some records, including accounting records, have to be kept for the periods above even after a deletion request.
