Sebastian Rowlands

Sebastian Rowlands is a transgender, interdisciplinary artist based in Brighton. A 2026 Fine Art BA graduate at the Art Academy, their degree show ‘Transtopia’ explored transgender utopias, and they had their first solo show ‘AH: After Hysterectomy’ in 2025. They have exhibited at the Royal Institute of Oil Painters (2025), winning the Student Prize, and Royal Society of British Artists (2025), alongside numerous queer shows including Pride in Art (2026), Swamp Witches (2025), the Anti-Misogyny Club (2024), STOGGAF Queer Art Collective (2024) and the Socially Engaged Art Salon (2024).
