Kier Cooke Sandvik
Kier Cooke Sandvik is a Norwegian artist with an MFA from the Art Academy of Oslo. His work deals with the body/bodily, sexuality, with an emotional and instinctual approach to the creation process, as well as the expression of the subject of psychological trauma which is often considered fundamentally unrepresentable. Through working with drawing, collage, and talismanic objects he invites the audience into a world of both terror and protection; of confusion and the clarity of emotional intensity; of love and abuse intermingling and overlapping.
