Fabienne Jenny Jacquet
Fabienne Jenny Jacquet is a Franco-British painter based in London & Deal, Kent, UK. She graduated from Central Saint Martins with a fine art BA. Her work is part of private and public collections in the USA, UK, Europe, China and Australia. Her paintings have been featured in the Evening Standard, the Financial Times, Brenda Magazine, Studio International, Made in Shoreditch Magazine, The Pomegranate London Magazine and the Curators Journal. In her work Fabienne explores the physicality of paint and the power of story telling. She uses the rhythm of marks, the thickness of layers and the fluidity of oil paint to build textured compositions where fragility and strength cohabit. Her paintings have a dark, melancholic feel combined with humour and a love of the surreal. She shows her work at the Don't Walk Walk Gallery in Deal and the Lido Store Gallery in Margate, as well as taking part in shows and residencies across the UK and abroad.
